I'm a Human Model Created Using Agisoft PhotoscanPro Version 1.1.5, Built to Showcase 3D Photogrammetry Skills for PhD Research. This project is part of an ongoing learning process to master 3D photogrammetry techniques that can revolutionize anatomical and paleontological model creation. By harnessing the power of simple photos, researchers will no longer be tied to expensive laser scans in lab settings, enabling them to generate accurate models quickly and efficiently. The Human Model you see here is a merged result of two separate builds, each created from distinct sets of images. A total of 213 high-quality photos were used, with 121 capturing the medial portion of the humerus and 92 focusing on the lateral side. To ensure precision, the bone was photographed from both sides before independent models were built. To facilitate alignment, small colored dots were strategically applied to the bone for marker referencing and scale calibration. Once both models were complete, they were carefully cropped to allow some overlap, just enough to synchronize the two sides seamlessly. Finally, adaptive orthographic texture was skillfully applied to the merged model, resulting in a highly detailed and accurate representation of the human humerus.
