The proximal humerus epiphysis, or shoulder bone's head, was scanned from an anonymous DICOM file. Slicer3D version 4.8 converted the DICOM (point cloud) data to .stl (mesh) format. Meshmixer then smoothed the mesh and removed extraneous objects from the original CT scan. This model is ideal for printing and educational use by medical and biomedical engineering students.
