This version of the Humble Velocipede uses Ninjaflex to print its legs. The Shin and Thigh parts print flat, taking advantage of Ninjaflex's flexibility to fold into place seamlessly. All other components should be printed in PLA or another hard filament for optimal results. Assembled models are available for purchase on Etsy at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/thehumblevelocipede The Humble Velocipede is a playful desktop toy designed to scuttle effortlessly across countertops and coffee tables. Inspired by Theo Jansen's Strandbeest creatures, this design combines 3D printing with custom hardware to bring the beauty of Jansen's walking mechanism within reach.
