Humanoid Avian Cat

The first humanoid avian cat was created using an ordinary cat named April, who had been living for twenty years doing nothing but defending the house from mice and being affectionate to its owners. April was surprisingly intelligent; she seemed to understand human language, even though no one knew how she learned it. She was black, yet she didn't bring bad luck. Despite her age, she slept a lot and left her owners alone. Her life was quite dull until she decided to do something that would make her unforgettable. One afternoon, the elderly black cat went for a walk outside the house. April knew where the vet was, but her sense of direction had become slower with time. She realized that the cat carrier was out, which made her groan inwardly. The cat carrier looked like a cage, and going into it made April feel trapped and helpless. However, she knew she needed to go in for medicine. The ride in the car was rough and long, but April had been on many trips before. She arrived at what she thought was the vet's office, but it turned out to be something else entirely. April didn't panic, as she had traveled far by car. Her owners opened a strange door, and April followed them into the building. After 15 minutes of waiting, April was let out of her carrier. She was happy to be free from the cage. She followed a person who talked with her owners and was led into a strange room. April realized that this machine could be dangerous, so she fluffed out her fur to appear larger. She received some medicine and took a nap due to tiredness. April woke up and looked around. She could see better than before, and she was in a black box. She presumed it was a test chamber, which made her feel uneasy. She noticed that she had something attached to her back, but she couldn't figure out what it was. Suddenly, April remembered seeing birds outside the window, flying away with wings their size. With a jolt, she realized that she could potentially fly. April tried it out and flew up into the air, landing on her backside and feeling pain. She stood up quickly, which was surprising for an elderly cat. April realized that she had the stamina of a young two-year-old cat. She tried sprinting from one end of the box to the other and was surprised by how quickly she could move. Later, April was let outside at home, where she spotted a bird and tried to pounce on it. When she missed, she tried flying to catch it. To her surprise, she caught the bird before it retreated back into its nest. April brought the bird back to her owners, who disposed of it properly. About three months later, April was given a job by the FBI: to rid all train stations in the state of mice, rats, pigeons, and other pests. She would receive loads of cat treats for clearing these annoying pests. April was swift going from one station to another, taking about half an hour each time. One day, while reading a newspaper, April noticed that Concord had been infested with millions of rats. Right after reading it, she practically flew all the way into the rat-infested city of Concord. As soon as she arrived, at least twenty rats challenged April. The rats were taunting her, but April hissed and sprang into action. She targeted the leader of the rats and managed to catch it. The other rats ran away from Concord in surprise. Moving through the alleyways, April heard sounds of cats and rats fighting. There were many cats, but the rats had at least ten times as many. When she arrived, April began slicing through rats with her claws unsheathed and teeth shown. Rats tried to target her, but she flew up into the air at least five hundred feet high with at least five hundred rats on her and shook them all off. All the rats fell to their doom, splatting against the pavement, some even knocking out their friends. After about six hours, the rats seemed to back off. April was awarded thousands of cat treats, and her owners received four thousand dollars.
