Fortunately, I've never had to make the choices that a newly turned vampire needs to make. I've never had to decide whether or not to drink the blood of strangers or await the unbearable hunger that might well lead to the death of someone closer. Nor have I had to choose between leaving my family to age and die, or turning them as well, creating a nest of vampires that would only lead to more death and sorrow. I've never had to choose if I would wear sleek black stylish clothing, or opt to drape myself in rich velvets from a more decadent age. I think I'd go with the velvet. It's so soft and comfy!
