Human Skull from MRI

Glow in the dark PLA is printed at a sizzling 208°C. Meanwhile, the build platform is heated to an impressive 52°C within the enclosure, where it's a comfortable 95°F outside. The printer zooms along with layers of 0.08mm precision, printing at a blistering 34mm per second - and this is all done with a 100% fill rate. Line support ensures that every detail is perfectly captured. Scaling up to 82%, the model is printed upside down, with an additional 10mm carefully trimmed from the top for optimal results. The Cura software version 15.04.3 takes charge on the HIC Prusa I3 printer, which has seen over 760 grams of filament fed through it. The finished print measures a whopping X142mm by Y202mm by Z261mm - and this was all achieved in an impressive 118 hours. The STL file is sourced from a medical university scan, with no distribution restrictions to worry about. UPDATE: after some careful digging, the exact source of the file has been remembered - it's none other than the cool and morbid Embodi3D Biomedical 3D printing community! And for those who want to stay in touch, Pinshape is a great place to find support.
