Human powered vehicles for bicycle sharing systems 3D model
cgtrader
3D model of the human powered vehicles for bicycle sharing systems and the BSS station itself. The vehicles shown are a bicycle and a kick scooter, both fitted with kinetic energy recovery systems. The vehicles were inspired on B2o and T2o of fritsch-durisotti. The KERS used was inspired on the 'Copenhagen Wheel', however instead of also having an electrical engine on the wheel to immediatelly consume the power generated from braking, the energy is simply stored (in a battery) and is provided to the bicycle station of the bicycle sharing systems when the bicycle is returned (after use by a client). Alternatively, the client can also choose to use the power he generated, ie to recharge any portable devices he carries (ie portable computer, cell phone, flashlight, ...)The bicycle has been foreseen only with a front derailleur (and not a rear derailleur). This is mainly for durability and for maintenance reasons. The bicycle and kick scooter are also given full rubber tyres (not air-filled) again for reasons of durability. Most of the bicycle and kick scooter can also be made of wood of another low-cost material (ie plastic). If made of wood though, it should be hollowed out as much as possible to save weight.
