Human ossicles (ear bones) ~10X
thingiverse
The provided files enable printing anatomically correct human ear bones (malleus, incus and stapes) at a scaled size of approximately 10 times their actual dimensions. Opening the ossiclesfit.stl in Rhino, Blender or your preferred 3D viewer will illustrate their anatomical arrangement. The files originate from McGill University (http://audilab.bmed.mcgill.ca/~daren/3Dear/mid1.html), have been imported into Rhino 3D v4.0, underwent minor mesh repairs and were printed using a Makerbot CNC Cupcake. While the malleus and incus print efficiently in a grouped file, the stapes is delicate and is also available as an individual file for ease of printing.
