This proposal advocates for the utilization of a plane mirror during the scanning process of a human 3D model with a laser scanner. By scanning a human model with a TLS and two mirrors in one position, we can significantly reduce the number of required scanning positions from three to just one. This streamlined approach can greatly decrease the time it takes for the subject to remain still, resulting in faster overall scanning times.
