Human Mandible (Jaw) Bone Scan, Asian Ancestry, Female Sex

thingiverse

This is a scan of a mandible from a real human skull in my personal collection, used to teach ancestry in anthropology classes. Facial morphology indicates Asian ancestry, female sex; this specimen is an excellent piece for teaching forensic anthropology and anatomy. The specimen is very old, both in chronological age and temporal age, and has lost several teeth. Print it out, use it for teaching purposes or simply educate yourself about facial bones. If you decide to use this scan for any other reason than personal education, please make sure to give proper attribution. This scan is not intended for commercial use. If you print this out, I would love to see a photo of your work! You can also check out my other scans of skulls and bones on http://www.thingiverse.com/dricketts/designs.
