A detailed view of a human kidney is revealed when it is cut in half, allowing for an in-depth look at its internal structures. To see how the kidneys appear on a radiograph, visit http://clinicalanatomy.ca/radiology/abdomenAP.html. This 3D model was created using Reality Capture and Artec Studio 13 technology by UBC HIVE. The production team consists of Dr. Claudia Krebs as Faculty Lead, Connor Dunne for photogrammetry, and Ishan Dixit for laser scanning.
