Human Ears

To create ear models for a medical device project, I downloaded a 3D model from http://www.3dcadmodel.com/Download-3d-model/Character-and-role/3d-ear-model.html and edited it in Blender. After printing the left and right ears separately, I found that removing most of the scalp portion and adding a flat base would save support material. Additionally, scaling down the model and changing units before processing the STL could be beneficial. Using Blender, I prepared one ear and duplicated it to create the other. A BFB-3000 Plus, dual head machine with ABS filament was used for printing. The low-resolution prints met my needs, and a Blender file is included for others to modify.
