During the August 2018 excavations of Vindolanda in Northumberland, United Kingdom, archaeologists uncovered this remarkable human skull at the base of the North-facing Severan ditch. The skull underwent detailed scanning using an advanced HP 3D structured light scanner to capture its intricate features and dimensions accurately.
