You can go higher if you want, but be aware that it will use a lot of plastic and take a long time to complete. I printed this brain with a standard 0.5mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer slice. The Gcode is quite large, coming in at over 30MB per part, so I highly recommend printing from an SD card rather than using a serial connection. Each half of the brain took me around 8 hours to print on my Prusa with a heated bed. To make this process smoother, I found that having a small, slow-moving fan blowing across the object really helps - especially when dealing with overhangs and thin plastic sections floating in mid-air. Just be sure not to over-cool your heated bed or hot-end if you decide to use a fan. One of the best things about this model is that it requires no support material, making it easier to print and a real showstopper when you pull it apart in front of someone. If you're up for a challenge, I highly recommend printing this one out - just be prepared for a long and potentially tricky print job. I printed mine with Faberdashery Pink PLA.
