Half of the brain is enough to collect it all. This makes for an excellent model when studying the human brain's intricate structure. The central organ of the human nervous system is indeed the brain, teaming up with the spinal cord as part of the central nervous system. Composed of the cerebrum, brainstem and cerebellum, it effectively governs most bodily activities, analyzing and synthesizing sensory information received from organs before making informed decisions about which commands are to be sent elsewhere in the body. Safely enclosed by protective skull bones, the brain resides within. The biggest component of the human brain is actually its cerebral hemisphere. Split neatly into two identical sides - right and left - it gets categorized based on a four-sectioned model, comprised of lobes for occipital and parietal, along with temporal and frontal lobes. Executing top-class executive tasks such as critical reasoning and self-regulation reside in the brain's most dominant regions - the occipital part handles everything visual and its counterparts take care of hearing. However, a key thing to know here is that left hemisphere deals mainly with language processing while right deals with skills linked more closely with mental imagery. Furthermore, hemispheres are deeply interconnected via their corpus callosum tract, thus establishing the link between senses in our mind. This intricate system further forms the crucial base of operations known as 'brain activity'. This system relies on neurotransmitters which trigger actions within an individual based on impulses received. A key part played by these impulse receivers (or more commonly referred to as neurons), enables us effectively transmit data through nerve endings located all over human body thus allowing brain activities such like problem-solving occur smoothly even in situations requiring immediate decisions
