Whispers spread like wildfire about the hidden treasures and powerful artifacts said to be concealed within these forsaken places, captivating the imagination of our world's inhabitants. Adventurers driven by ambition and greed ventured into these perilous lands in search of fortune and glory. Organized into small groups, they braved the dangers that lurked within, determined to claim the spoils for themselves. This is the premise of Scavengers, a tabletop skirmish game set in the devastated lands, where players take on the role of leaders guiding their band of adventurers through treacherous terrain. Extracted from Alabar Chronicle's, A Scavenger Guide to Our World Introduction Scavengers is a tactical miniature war game designed for small-scale combat with fantasy and steampunk-themed miniatures. Two players engage in a fierce battle, each fielding five to ten miniatures on the table (a hero and their loyal henchmen). The game's rules are straightforward and easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, yet complex enough to require practice and experience to master. The game was built around three fundamental principles. Firstly, players have the freedom to choose from a wide range of miniatures, either by downloading our 3D models or selecting their own collection. This flexibility ensures that Scavengers is not tied to any specific manufacturer or company, allowing players to create unique armies and gameplay experiences. Secondly, the focus of the game lies squarely on the miniatures themselves, emphasizing the joy of collecting and customizing these tiny masterpieces. The game's design prioritizes the visual appeal and tactile experience of miniature gaming, making it a true delight for enthusiasts.
