The Huma, also known as Homā or Homa, is a mythical creature from ancient Persian lore. It is frequently depicted in Iranian fables and continues to inspire motifs in Sufi poetry and literature. In various legends about this mystical being, one characteristic remains consistent: the bird is said to defy gravity by never setting foot on solid ground. Instead, it supposedly resides permanently above the earth, flying at heights invisible to human eyes throughout its life.
