HulkBuster Split
thingiverse
This is a split version of 3DWP's Hulkbuster designed specifically for printing in two separate pieces. The model was edited using Tinkercad and is not entirely flawless, with some stray bits of mesh hanging loose from where it was cut in two using negative rectangular solids; hopefully these will be minimal issues. The legs might turn out better if they are mirrored on the z-axis. I printed the chest with supports in place and flipped the legs so that the feet were touching the build plate, which could result in better prints if done without supports. Enjoy! Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: depends on preference Infill: Doesn't matter Notes: Using a smaller distance between the print and support structure, especially along the X and Y axes, will yield improved results by having the support structure touch the print throughout its height, preventing it from toppling during the initial layers. A distance of 0.7 mm worked well for me. In Cura (Lulzbot edition), these settings can be accessed by clicking the little button next to the Support type drop-down menu and adjusting the Distance X/Y (mm) to 0.7.
