A 3D scan of a vintage Incredible Hulk toy chest lid. This test scan utilizes ReconstructMe and a Microsoft Kinect for Xbox. I have been experimenting with various 3D scanning methods lately, and this one stands out as a favorite. While the laser scanner I use at work excels at capturing precise details on static objects, it is slow and not well-suited for scanning people. The ReconstructMe software is incredibly impressive, making scanning a person much simpler.
