Hughes XF-11 Kit Card

<p>The XF-11 experimental reconnaissance aircraft has to be one of my favourite looking aircraft of all time. Designed by Howard Hughes in the 1940's, it was fitted with 2 sets of contra-rotating props and controllable-pitch propellers. On its maiden flight in 1946, piloted by Hughes himself, it resulted in a near fatal crash totalling the craft. To tweak the tightness, simply increase or decrease the Z height in your slicer, otherwise a little glue can go a long way!</p> No tools required, however I would recommend some wire snippers and a small blade for clean-up :) </div></p></p></p> Category: Models
