This is part of my innovative Baby-Huey large format 3D printer project, offering numerous possibilities for diverse applications. It can also serve as a valuable resource for other complex projects, demonstrating its versatility. Since Huey remains a work in progress, the assembly has yet to be thoroughly utilized, but initial results are promising. The components were successfully printed and assembled, performing admirably in its designated role. This particular system utilizes four skate bearings to traverse a robust 25.4 (or 25mm) square tube with precision. Notably, it becomes stable only after attachment to its counterpart assemblies and stabilization by threaded rod (M6; imperial equivalents might also work effectively). Optional attachments of stepper motors or idler pulleys can be added to two sides for enhanced functionality. Stepper motors are mounted securely via an adaptable adapter plate. A round shaft measuring 12mm in diameter is also integral to this system's design. Having recently upgraded to a simplified two-bearing configuration, I no longer have plans to utilize this component further in the Baby-Huey project.
