Fossil tracks found in Santisteban del Puerto, Jaen, date back to the Triassic period, specifically to the red layers of that era, which span from 230 to 220 million years ago. This site measures 18 square meters and contains 26 unusual track morphology impressions. Each tridactyl track features three parallel depressions (two long lateral marks and a shorter central mark). Scientists believe these tracks were left by bipedal archosaurs as they swam in deep water, occasionally touching the bottom with their toes. The H6 print measures 33 cm wide and 9 cm deep. It consists of three subparallel impressions. The medium and lateral impressions clearly show claw marks when viewed from a different angle.
