Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor Ceiling Mount

This is a ceiling mount specifically designed for the Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor. The included mount, although versatile and adaptable for both inner and outer wall corners, is not suitable for ceiling mounting. To address this limitation, I began by replicating the standard clip that comes with the motion sensor device and then modified it to achieve a low profile. I also added a mechanism to secure it to a separate ceiling-mounted piece. The mount consists of two parts that need to be printed together, taking into account their orientation. This ensures proper alignment of the holes. Due to the design's complexity, supports may be required during printing for the holes. However, removing these supports can be challenging, especially when it comes to the hole recess in the ceiling mount portion. To overcome this difficulty, I recommend using a 10mm drill bit to carefully remove any remaining support material from the recess. Additionally, I've included an extra standard clip as a spare, which can be used if the original one is damaged or lost. This spare clip can also come in handy when temporarily relocating the sensor to another area.
