Hudl 2 charging dock
thingiverse
This dock houses the Hudl 2, its tablet set firmly within in portrait mode so that the USB socket sits nestled on the underside, conveniently positioned for a snug fit at the bottom of the device. Simply use the original USB cable provided and slide it neatly into place to allow the Hudl 2 to charge as needed while resting securely in its dock. Just Print Instructions A simple PLA print achieved using a modest 0.4 layer height at an infill of 40%, designed with usability in mind. Measurements were taken deliberately slack to accommodate the unique tolerances present across different printers, and if tighter dimensions are desired, I have supplied an openscad file for modification. For a smooth cable passage, tightening may be necessary - particularly the USB cable. However, it's highly advisable to secure one firmly within the dock using glue; otherwise, it's likely to suffer breakage over time. I found the original micro-USB connection that comes with the Hudl 2 to provide a remarkably tight fit into its designated port on the device itself.
