Hubsan Replacement Chassis in "Race" Style. Based on Froetz's Work, a New Design Emerges. After exploring Froetz's work at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:661243, I realized that his design didn't quite meet my expectations. Although I had printed his model, it seemed to have a few inconsistencies. A closer examination using SolidWorks revealed some shocking inaccuracies. Every measurement taken from his design deviated significantly. Instead of attempting to correct Froetz's mistakes, I decided to create an entirely new chassis for the Hubsan quadcopter. My design follows roughly the same dimensions but boasts a more forward placement of the circuit holder. However, due to a lack of Hubsan hardware in my collection (a few spare parts can't get you far!), I haven't been able to test this design firsthand. If you print and use this replacement chassis, please let me know how it performs, what improvements could be made, and if there's anything that could be tweaked. I'll ensure these insights are incorporated into the file. Share your project with photos – it would be fantastic to see it take flight! Instructions: Printed at a layer height of 0.16 mm with an outer infill made of concentric elements (3 solid bottom layers, top layers and two outlines) accompanied by a 15% rectilinear pattern.
