Hubsan X4 Race Chassis (v2)
thingiverse
Inspired by the Thingiverse design number 636591, I designed and built my own race-chassis for the Hubsan X4 first generation drone with two LED lights, equipped with 7mm motors. The chassis was printed in PLA material and weighs approximately 8.5 grams, almost as light as the original chassis. After integrating a stripped Keycam from Chuck Lohr's website and a 380mAh battery, the complete drone assembly is roughly around 43 grams. Version 2 Updates: Following some flight testing and minor crashes, I decided to reinforce certain structural connections between the body and arms of my drone design without adding significant weight. My revised Version 2 incorporates stronger bonding agents for these areas to improve overall stability.
