Hubsan H501S Legs for stock propeller guard
thingiverse
Legs perfectly matched to the stock H501 propeller guards. Fasten securely with zip ties to the prop guards. No need to worry about A/B propeller compatibility: this part works seamlessly on all 4 prop guards! For those using the standard Hubsan prop guards, you might have noticed the small notches below each guard's middle arm. I'm not sure what their original purpose was (perhaps someone can enlighten me?), but these notches provide a great foundation for attaching legs. With prop guards and legs installed, my H501 now weighs 540g - exactly where I need it to ensure optimal battery life! Like many of you, I initially opted for custom guards and legs from Thingiverse. However, my H501 became too heavy (650g) and battery life suffered significantly, lasting only 15 minutes or less. So, I switched to stock propeller guards, which are noticeably lighter, although not as robust. These adaptable legs take advantage of the prop guards' flexibility for shock absorption, but keep in mind they won't withstand a severe crash landing (neither will the prop guards). Still, I believe they're an excellent match for the prop guards.
