Hubsan H109S X4 Pro Quadcopter: Stable Landing Gear Upgrade The Hubsan H109S X4 Pro quadcopter flies remarkably well without propeller protection! However, not using protection increases the risk of breaking propellers during landing on uneven surfaces like grass or concrete. When landing, the quadcopter can bend and propellers may touch the ground, causing damage to one or two propellers, or even a motor - that's very bad! Stable landing gear has an enlarged base size (see photo), which virtually eliminates the possibility of breaking propellers during landing. Landing on any surface is now stable! To make Stable landing gear, you'll need a 10mm diameter plastic tube available at building material stores. There are two options for mounting: straight or angled. A) Straight mounting reduces air flow resistance from propellers and makes the quadcopter 10mm higher. B) Angled mounting reduces lateral wind resistance and slightly increases landing stability. With Stable landing gear, transporting and maintaining the Hubsan H109S X4 Pro becomes easier. You can put it on its side without fear of it falling over - see the photo for reference.
