Hubs for geodesic domes made from 20 mm diameter polypropylene or PVC pipes are being designed. Redesigning the concept of hubs for my requirements was necessary. The estimated diameter of the dome is 5 m. Due to the weight of the pipes, they cannot be held in place by fixtures alone, so frames had to be created for them. Locks prevent the frame from flattening under its own weight. Two types of hubs (seen on Geodesic Dome Calculator: http://acidome.ru/lab/calc/#1/2_Piped_D100_2V_R2.5_beams_20x20) are being developed: - Five-terminal (orange) - Six-terminal (green) - the location of Type B pipes is marked with a notch. The project remains unfinished until summer arrives, at which time assembly will take place.
