Hubert Cumberdale from Salad Fingers - 2004 web series

There was absolutely no reason for me to put this much detail in, but here he is, Hubert Cumberdale from David Firth's web series Salad Fingers. Hubert was instantly a favorite character of mine and was a fun little sculpt to make. I tried to capture as much detail as possible from David Firth's art, but keep in mind it's a small finger puppet, and I re-learned that a lot of that detail disappears when printed small, also making it harder to paint. I included pics of my finished painted version. I painted the lines a little thick to show up (and it was easier that way).I sculpted Hubert entirely in Autodesk Meshmixer, sliced in Flashprint, and printed on Flashforge Dreamer with PLA. I used just a little tree-like support structure when printing, mostly for the open interior and some small external details.
