Huawei P20 Pro Lens Hood

I love my Huawei P20 Pro, but let's just say I have mixed feelings about it sometimes. I recently created a magnetic lens hood that made a huge difference in photo quality on sunny days and when shooting street lights at night. It was a game-changer. If you want to improve this design, try using some black fabric for the borders - I used a gasket from an old 35mm film roll canister and it worked perfectly. You'll need an 8x1mm magnet, but if you have one that's smaller or thicker, just glue it in place. I ended up adding two more magnets to mine for extra grip. To make this work, you'll also need a metal plate underneath your phone case - you can find them on eBay or at your local mobile accessories store for less than a dollar.
