I've always liked this design but not the bulb type, figured someone else might be able to put it to use as well. This is an upgrade for the lighting of the Lithophane Photo Cube on [https://lithophanemaker.com/](https://lithophanemaker.com/) which uses a different type of bulb, this attachment allows you to use led strips for more color options and modes plus I just think the quality is better. I made the hole longer so that it would start wrapping closer to the edge it's just not pictured cause that's the first one I made and printed pictured so it looks like the one in the 3d model photo. This is sized for the default sizes of the Photo Cube Lithophane on [https://lithophanemaker.com/](https://lithophanemaker.com/) if you change the sizes you will need to scale the model to fit right. The two grey washers in pics are printed flat on the bed, the orange smaller rings on the models are modeled to it but do not need supports they are there to hold the washers so it can be support-less. The way you want to install it is put the end of the led strip in first the part with no connector in threw the top of the tube and out threw the hole in the side of tube and pull that all the way threw the tube till there is just enough slack to push the connector threw the opening and cap (but not yet) so again, the end that is all the way wrapped around the wheel it comes on is the end you want to put in first, it's easier to push threw than the connector you can also use a toothpick if you need to move it to pull threw. Then hot glue it wrapping it around towards the flat end of the tube till you get to the end of the tube and cut where it says to on the line. I don't suggest putting the light on the end of the tube only around it cause on the end it can create a hot spot on the Lithophane front photo since it's so close to the front and won't look good. For the best contrast as these leds are so bright I would leave it on low brightness medium max. This requires no supports and I use a 7mm brim on each part. The thicker washer is for the cap. 3 ft led strips are plenty, don't forget to get usb extension cables as the cables are only about a ft to plug in with. I added the washer stops, washers, cut the holes and scaled. No Supports needed I used a 7mm brim with 20 percent infill.
