<p>I created my own fan duct and holder for my Ender 3 Pro since the part cooling solution of the new High Temperature Hotend (HTH) from Creality:<br/><a href="https://www.creality.com/goods-detail/creality-high-temp-full-hotend-kit">https://www.creality.com/goods-detail/creality-high-temp-full-hotend-kit</a><br/>is even worse than the stock one (in my opinion).</p><p>It is inspired by (but not a copy or remix of) the famous Hero Me Gen 5 suite.</p><ul><li>Creality Ender 3 Pro Hotend Plate</li><li>Creality High Temperture Hotend</li><li>12 mm inductive bed pobe sensor</li><li>5015 radial part cooling fan</li><li>Fan duct is mechanically separated from bed level sensor</li></ul><p>It is not modular, but you can adjust the duct height a little bit.</p><p>The HTH itself is working great on my machine, you need to use the temperture sensor type:<br/>5 : 100K thermistor - ATC Semitec 104GT-2/104NT-4-R025H42G (Used in ParCan, J-Head, and E3D) (4.7k pullup)<br/>in Marlin to achive correct temperature readings. I checked it with a Fluke 287 and a K-Type sensor:</p><figure class="table"><table><thead><tr><th>Marlin Temp Option 5 [°C]</th><th>Fluke 287 [°C]</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>170</td><td>169.9</td></tr><tr><td>180</td><td>179.3</td></tr><tr><td>190</td><td>190.0</td></tr><tr><td>200</td><td>199.9</td></tr><tr><td>210</td><td>210.2</td></tr><tr><td>220</td><td>220.9</td></tr><tr><td>230</td><td>231.6</td></tr><tr><td>240</td><td>242.4</td></tr><tr><td>250</td><td>251.9</td></tr><tr><td>260</td><td>262.5</td></tr><tr><td>270</td><td>272.4</td></tr><tr><td>280</td><td>283.6</td></tr><tr><td>290</td><td>292.8</td></tr><tr><td>300</td><td>304.0</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>I checked the fan duct airflow with some water at 100% and 40% fan speed (last two images). Performace is quiet good and I don't think you need the 100% fan speed often.</p><p>The default nozzle of the HTH is from hardened steel (or something similar) and do not conduct the heat as well as a typical brass one. If you don't print abrasive materials you should change to a brass nozzle directly, otherwise you need to adjust printing tempeartures accordingly.</p>
