
HTD 3M Pulleys for Stepper and CNC

Two 32-tooth pulleys are designed for a 12mm HTD 3M (3mm) timing belt. The hard-to-find HTD profile ensures a firm grip with the belt. One pulley is compatible with a stepper motor's 8mm shaft, while the other fits a 10mm keyed indexed mill shaft. These pulleys are used to drive the Y axis on an Opti BF20 mill (Grizzly G0704). For printing in ABS or similar material, use settings of 4-5 solid layers, 3 perimeters, and 50% infill to prevent deformation. After printing, a sharp 8mm drill or reamer should be used for the stepper pulley, followed by mounting with two M3 12mm screws and nuts on the shafts. Acetone can optionally be used to smooth the surface. These pulleys are compatible with standard HTD 3M 12mm timing belts, which can be found at a low price on eBay (3M-384-12, search for Drive Belt 3M 12). STEP files are available upon request and were created in Autocad Inventor.
