This reduces vibration in the Vive tracker. If you enjoy dancing in VR, vibration from stomping your feet can cause a momentary tracking loss. You will need a 1/4''-20 thread 1880 camera / tripod screw for this purpose. I purchased mine on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M66M85A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
