This is a custom Vive controller sniper rifle designed specifically for "The Nest" game, boasting a design that perfectly matches the in-game sniper rifle model. Players can now hold a physical replica of their favorite virtual weapon, significantly enhancing immersion and accuracy. The model features an attachment point at the front, allowing users to add additional parts such as a front stock. While playing the game suggests that no extra attachments are necessary, I will continue experimenting and updating the design as needed. A Sketchup file is included, enabling users to customize the design or add their own personal touches if desired. This modification enables players to immerse themselves even further in the gaming experience. On June 26, 2016, at 5:52 PM, I updated the model by adjusting tolerances to ensure better fitting parts. I also enlarged holes slightly to prevent splitting when bolted together and made cosmetic changes that reduce the amount of plastic required for printing. A second version of the fore stock was uploaded, utilizing significantly less plastic than its predecessor. The first version was excessively bulky. Assembly: The model is assembled by bolting parts together using M4.5 x 30mm bolts. I also added foam to the stock for enhanced comfort when holding the sniper rifle against your shoulder.
