This design takes the HTC Vive controller to the next level with a modular connector that allows for seamless additions, such as a detachable shoulder piece and a laser pointer attachment. Originally, I envisioned a comprehensive collection of extensions tailored to specific virtual objects, but the current setup has proven effective in most situations. The inclusion of a laser pointer on a VR controller may seem unconventional, but it serves as a precise remote control that's aware of its surroundings. As my VR projects continue to evolve, I'm likely to incorporate additional components like extra buttons or innovative control elements. Please note: The shoulder piece was designed with comfort in mind, specifically to alleviate strain on the arms during prolonged VR gaming sessions. This may give users an unfair advantage in competitive gameplay; thus, fairness among players is essential.
