The perfect spot for my HTC Vive Lighthouses is in the corner of my living room, where they can shine their light with precision and accuracy. To keep them securely in place, I crafted a wall mount that attaches to the standard mount and two screws provided, making it a hassle-free installation process. My aim was to design something straightforward, requiring no additional parts or tools beyond the standard equipment. To achieve this, I optimized the print settings to minimize filament usage, saving precious printing time. During the prototype phase, I experimented with thinner walls but found that they would crack under stress. After testing various thicknesses, I settled on 5mm walls as a reliable and sturdy option. To ensure your print is robust enough to hold the lighthouse securely, apply gentle yet firm pressure several times the weight of the device until you're confident it will withstand everyday use.
