I bought retractable reel holders to run my Vive cable overhead, but the carabiners that came with it slid all over the place and were really poorly made. I tried using cable ties to keep them where I wanted them, but adjusting them was a real pain. Before deciding to go overhead, I was using RichWP's belt clip. I took his round clip for the cable into TinkerCad and added a block on top that the cord reel wire could easily pass through and then a slot to center the cable on the clip perfectly.
