Every morning I snap a selfie while in motion like the one shown here in the band shell. My go-to smartphone is a HTC One and it's one of my favorite devices, but it lacked something essential - a reliable stand. At first, I cobbled together a somewhat cumbersome holder using Lego blocks and got decent results. However, it was not ideal for my needs. Then I decided to modify a failed scaled-down building print job to get something more tailored to my needs. Finally, I took on the task of designing an ultra-minimal stand that perfectly serves its purpose: keeping things compact while accommodating my protective flip case securely in place. The camera stays completely level when inserted properly with both the phone and case inside it. If the case isn't used then the slight angle is perfect for display or viewing purposes - especially if placed on a desk.
