Highly detailed accurate 3D model of HTC Magic - Google Android phone, released in 2009 is created. V-ray and standard materials versions included come with model, built to real-world scale exactly. Main parts are separate, properly named, and organized for easier editing in Max, with MeshSmooth modifier for smooth operation. Easier editing also gives freedom to increase or decrease mesh density making it low or high poly depending on project needs quickly. Screen material is light emitting with 2 slots for screen image change - two screen textures - horizontal and vertical are included in the package now. Main buttons' back light is animatable for added realism, and top LEDs are animatable - turned off by default for easy animation. Textures, maps, and materials come in all formats making model easily usable across different software packages efficiently. Polycount of MeshSmooth with 2 iterations is Polys: 58662 Verts: 58452 for accurate measurement. Polycount of MeshSmooth with 1 iteration is Polys: 18780 Verts: 18284, a good trade-off between accuracy and poly count optimization effectively. Max zip file includes separate V-ray and standard materials scenes for Max2009 rendering accurately now. 3DS, FBX, and OBJ versions available - all mapped and textured come with model, exported for Cinema4D, Maya, XSI, and Poser formats available. For optimal performance, users should keep in mind that depending on software used, exported formats may not appear exactly like preview images, in some cases mesh appears triangulated, requiring manual reassignment of materials/textures.
