I recently printed some useful items utilizing my PLA samples as my Mendel is now functional. A colleague mentioned needing a phone tripod mount, so I quickly learned OpenSCAD basics, designed a model, and printed it. However, one triangular retaining tab refuses to print despite appearing in the model on reprapost. If anyone has tips for fixing this issue, please share. To use the finished product, simply attach grippy foam to the sides, drill/tap the screw hole, and mount with a tripod mounting screw that may tap its own threads.
