This user uses their 8X for photography since it performs better than their old digital camera; however, they struggle with hand stability resulting in blurry shots. As a Windows phone, accessory options are limited. To solve this issue, the individual used their 3D printer to create a camera mount. They printed the mount flat on an UP mini using white ABS. The soda-blasted polycarbonate of the 8X may wear over time on the sliding faces but it's a tradeoff for its finish. Few accessories are available due to the phone's finish. After printing, carefully insert the tripod mounting screw. Some layer splitting might require acetone reinforcement.
