Post-Printing Instructions Remove rough edges using 220 grit sandpaper, focusing on the inside of the ring for optimal comfort. For added safety and hygiene, apply silicone conforming spray to prevent bacterial growth. Alternatively, apply a coat of spray paint and seal with polyurethane for a durable finish. Design Process Multiple scans were taken using my Atlas3D laser scanner, which I then superimposed on top of each other as a reference point. In Blender, I created basic shapes (square and torus) and used the sculpting tool to shape them into a design similar to my vision. Boolean modifiers were applied to achieve flat surfaces on the attachment part. The design was printed, tested for fit, modified accordingly, and repeated until perfection was achieved.
