This is an adapter to provide a threaded keyed mount for FC connectors on the HT-1 Visual Fault Locator. I couldn't find a pre-made adapter for this specific type of light source, so I consulted the FC connector spec and made an educated guess at the VFL thread dimensions. The thin, weak threads on the FC connector mate with are a potential point of failure, making it a good idea to print some spares. For a truly reliable mount, consider machining the adapter out of steel or brass. A detailed drawing and STEP model are included with the critical dimensions for this purpose.
