HSW Bosch 18V DIY battery mount and charger
prusaprinters
I recently started using the lovely Honeycomb storage wall by RostaP for hanging my Bosch DIY equipment.I could not find any battery holders for the Bosch 18V DIY batteries, nor for its default charger (AL1810CV), so I ended up creating something myself.Battery storageJust print standing up using minor supports for the feet/clips.Battery chargerThis one contains 2 parts: a replacement top for the charger a LED reflector/diffuserChoose a light color for optimal light reflection like white or transparant. I've used Prusament PETG White in 1 layer and it works nicely in a lit up room. The reflector slides in from the side.Unfortunately you need some supports since I added the feet into the model for optimal strength. For the charger top, just unscrew and replace the hat. You can reuse the existing screws from the original charger. EU plug holderI still needed a EU plug holder that decently supports the charger brick. I've created one using the ‘insert-empty’ base part from the HSW library.Using screws to mount to a wallBoth battery/charger models have some holes to (optionally) mount it to the wall to cope with the weight. Add a cilinder with a full infill around the holes to avoid breaking it with screws. (see 3mf)Mine are mounted with 4x45mm.SupportIf you like my effort, give this design a like and share makes!
