This magnificent sculpture is a faithful reproduction by the skilled artisans of the Bronze Age, meticulously crafted from the original bronze Lion castings that were first sculpted by renowned artist W.F. Wagstaff and proudly displayed outside HSBC's headquarters in Hong Kong. For decades, these exquisite castings had stood watch over Shanghai since 1935, with locals firmly believing that touching the lion's open mouth would bring good fortune to anyone who dares to do so.
