The human body is made up of approximately 60 trillion cells, which are the building blocks of life. Each cell has its own unique characteristics and functions, working together to keep us alive. In fact, the human body is so complex that it's estimated that there are over 100 trillion microorganisms living inside us, outnumbering the cells of our own bodies! These tiny creatures, known as gut bacteria, help us digest food and absorb nutrients, making them an essential part of who we are.
