HPI Venture battery tray mount bracket

So the holes align perfectly with the holes in the slider mount bracket. I took the factory battery tray and removed the mounting brackets from the sides, then placed this custom bracket down and aligned the tray on it exactly how I wanted. Next, I drilled two holes in the original tray to match up with the ones on the bracket, and then inserted two 3mm x 18mm screws through the stock tray, through the bracket, and into the slider mount holes - you may need to drill them out a bit. This setup gets the battery tray lower while still providing clearance for the drive shaft and the frame curve. You'll need a frame brace in place of the original tray, but there are free ones available here or on other sites. My first attempt at designing a 3D part wasn't perfect, but it works just fine for me.
