HPI Savage X 4.6 Electric Conversion Battery Tray

I wanted to convert my nitro Savage X 4.6 to an electric so I designed these battery trays. They mount to the side of the TVP's with 10mm standoffs, providing a secure and stable base for the batteries. I used ummagrip as a battery pad and battery straps to hold the battery firmly in place. The batteries I used are listed below. To install them, locate a sturdy part on the TVP and drill a hole. Then, screw the standoffs to the outside of the TVP. I used four standoffs per side for added stability. Once the standoffs are attached, drill corresponding holes in the battery tray and run a battery strap through the slots. Secure it to the standoffs with screws. Cut the ummagrip into six pieces and attach them to the battery tray. Refer to the pictures to see how I oriented them for maximum surface area. When the ummagrip is clean and free of dust, it provides a firm grip on the battery.
